Just got home after a busy day.
Took the wife's mother to Southport for a hearing test, don't know why she couldn't have one closer to home but at 84 there's no point arguing with her.

The weather has been glorious, this is a beautiful country when the sun shines.
High of 20c and a forecast low of 13c tonight.

My friends are over from County Tipperary tomorrow, so it's an early start (6:45) to Liverpool Airport in the morning.

A bright sunny start to the day here on the West Coast of Scotland and the temperature is 9c, the storms that were forecast have not yet arrived and the sea is almost like a mill pond with hardly a ripple on the surface.

There is a largish yacht (70'-90') heading out to the open sea, it's heading out towards the West of the Isle of Cumbrae, maybe in the hope of picking up some wind....even the rich folk with their toys can't afford the price of diesel!R
